Fast rising Nigeria singer, Oxlade has revealed that DMW Boss, Davido helped him get back up at the point when he was going to give up on music.
While speaking on Me Myself And I show on Naijaloaded TV, “Legend” crooner, Oxlade said, Davido sent him a DM on Instagram filled with words of encouragement after he listened to one of his songs.
According to Oxlade, the DM came at the point where he was about giving up on music.
He also stated that, the overwhelming show of love to him from fans after the song “Mamiwota” with Blaqbonez dropped has also kept him going.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is set to reward one of its personnel, Aircraftman (ACM) Bashir Umar, who found and returned the sum of 37,000 Euros to Alhaji Ahmad, the owner of the lost money.
The incident occurred at the Hajj Camp Market in Kano on Tuesday 16 July 2019, when ACM Bashir, who is a member of the NAF Mobile Air Defence Team (#MADT) deployed for airport security duties, while on routine patrol with some of his colleagues, found the money in a parcel.
Fortunately, there was a phone number on the parcel which he called and eventually handed over the package to the owner.
Consequently, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, has directed the Chief of Administration at the Headquarters NAF, Air Vice Marshal Kingsley Lar, to immediately come up with modalities to reward the Umar so as to encourage others.

Chelsea French striker, Olivier Giroud has revealed what Frank Lampard repeatedly tells the club’s players since he got appointed as manager.
Lampard signed a three year contract with Chelsea this year to become the first English man to manage the London side in decades.

Having hard palms can directly affect your love and social life very much. If you want soft palms close to that of a new baby, follow these steps.
Method
Mix 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp olive oil in a bowl. Fetch some of the scrubs into your palm and rub your palm together.
Massage your fingers and hands with gentle squeezing and circular motions for about 30 seconds.
Then relax your palms and let the scrub sink in for another 30 seconds.
Wash out your hands with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel.
Method
In a small container, mix 2 teaspoons each of lemon, honey and baking soda together all the ingredients evenly.
Now apply this mixture onto your hands, rubbing it through and massaging your hands for a minute.
Allow the mixture to sit on your hands for five to 10 minutes.
Wash your hands in warm water.
Do not use soap directly afterward. Repeat this process at least twice a week to remove discoloration and promote soft healthy-looking hands.
Petroleum jelly is a staple of many bathroom cabinets and one of the widely used moisturizers for newborn, youth and oldies.
Method
Wash your hands with lukewarm water and coat your hands with Vaseline every night before you go to bed.
Egg yolk contains high amounts of Vitamin A, while almonds boost the Vitamin E content in your skin.
This mixture exfoliates, moisturizes and nourishes your hands, giving you those supple hands you deserve.
Method
Add 1 tsp of honey, ½ tsp of crushed almonds and a hint of rose water to an egg yolk. Work them into a paste.
Massage your hands with this mixture for 10 minutes and let it stay for 15-20 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

The lifeless body of a sexagenarian was on Tuesday found hanging in an uncompleted lift inside the old building of the Edo state high court in Benin, the state capital.
The deceased, Moses Airhiagbonkpa, 65 years who is a father of five, was said to have been in the court for a case relating to a land dispute in Ugiokhuen community, Oredo local government area of Edo state.
The tragedy, which attracted a large number of persons, was described as horrible and worrisome by Mr Osasu Isoken, a relative to the deceased, saying that the renovating project by A&K Construction Company was not being properly handled.
According to him,
“I received a call from state police command this morning that my father is dead but when I got here, I was told that they discovered his dead body hanging on uncompleted construction work on a lift on the old building of the high court, when they saw blood gushing out at the first floor in the building they discovered it was a human being hanging dead.
“The company need to be queried on why they failed to indicate a danger sign on the lift under construction that led to the man’s death. What just is as a result of poorly handling of the projects, all they could do was to set a death trap to both workers and visitors who may have case for hearing.”
Isoken appealed to concerned authorities to investigate the matter for justice to be served.
An elder from the community, Johnson Obanor, who was in the company of the elders that went for the court case, narrated to NAIJALOADED what transpired, saying the deceased left them when they were waiting for the lawyer handling their case, who was going to book a date for the hearing of their case after been earlier be informed that their case was not to be heard today.
“The three of us came here this morning and they told us the court is not for today but when our lawyer came, she now told us to wait, that she was going to take date for the hearing of our case. Even this our brother that is lying dead on the ground was the one that gave the lawyer the money.
“Before our lawyer came back, he took excuse saying he was going to urinate. After we waited for him for some minutes, we started calling him but his phone remained unanswered, when we saw the phone in where we were sitting then we concluded that he may have also been looking for the phone.
“But getting to the last floor, we saw people running around saying that one of the workers fell from the storey building. Getting there, we found out that it was our brother.”
As at the time of filing this report, A&K Construction Company could not be reached as efforts to get their reaction proved abortive.
However, security personnel were seen on ground to ensure peace and decorum while arrangement was underway to take the deceased to the morgue.

President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the families of Precious Owolabi, an NYSC member serving with Channels Television and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Usman Umar, of the FCT Police Command.
Recall that members of IMN on Monday attacked emergency point of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA during their protest which led to the deaths of these two.
According to a statement signed by Femi Adesina, a Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Buhari urged management and staff of the television station and police leadership to remain steadfast and committed to their professional callings.
President Buhari added that the death of Owolabi and Umar was untimely, “sad, regrettable and worrisome,” as he described them as “law-abiding, hardworking and vibrant Nigerians with a promising future,”
“I assure residents of Abuja in particular and the country in general to go about their lawful activities without fear.
“The perpetrators of the mayhem will not go unpunished, stressing that no government can tolerate unceasing affront to constituted authority.
“Let nobody or group doubt or test our will to act in the higher interest of majority of our citizens.
“I pray God Almighty to grant rest to the souls of the departed and speedy recovery to the injured.”
Before their death, Precious Owolabi, was a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member serving at Channels Tv and Usman Umar was a Deputy Commissioner of Police.

A secondary school teacher has been nabbed after he reportedly forced a female student to sleep with him.
A 28-year-old teacher, Idowu Daniel, was on Monday remanded in prison by an Ikeja Chief Magistrate Court for allegedly defiling a 17-year-old secondary school student, Daily Trust reports.
The chief magistrate, Olufunke Sule-Amzat, who did not take the plea of the defendant, ordered that he be remanded in Kirikiri Prison.
Sule-Amzat ordered the police to send the case file to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice. She adjourned the case until Oct. 21.
The defendant, who lives at Abule-Egba area of Lagos, is facing a charge of defilement.
Earlier, the prosecutor, ASP Benson Emuerhi told the court that the defendant, on June 27 at 9.25am unlawfully had carnal knowledge of his student in the Biology Laboratory at Anastasia Comprehensive College, Abule-Egba, Ikeja.
“The teacher lured the student into the school’s Biology lab and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her,”’ the prosecutor said.
The offence, he said, contravenes Section 137 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015.
The section prescribes 14 years imprisonment for defilement, if found guilty.

An Abeokuta Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, sentenced two men Ayodeji Akinhanmi,34 and Arowolo Hammed, 34, to three years imprisonment each, for stealing valuables worth N96, 500.
The Magistrate, Mr Olakunleyin Oke said that with the evidence before the court, the prosecution proved its case beyond doubt.
Oke held that the defendants were guilty of the two-count charge of break-in and stealing.
He, therefore, sentenced the defendants to three years imprisonment each without an option of fine.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp. OluBalogun Lawrence, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on Jan. 31 at about 2:30 a.m. at Oke-Ilewo in Abeokuta.
Lawrence alleged that the defendants burgled two shops and stole valuable items.
According to the prosecutor, the defendants entered into MM4 Hair Clinic Shop and stole four clippers, standing fan and a wristwatch.
He said the property belonged to Mr Aderowoye Mubasiru.
Lawrence said the duo also broke into another shop belonging to Mrs Fagbenro Saidat and stole one gas cylinder valued at N10,000, rice and a blender, all worth N24,000.
According to him, the offences contravene Sections 319, 431(1)(2), 383, and 390(9) of the Criminal Law of Ogun, 2006.

A Plateau High Court on Tuesday ordered that an applicant, Mike Umufia, be remanded in prison custody for allegedly raping four minors, pending bail application.
Justice Christine Dabup gave the order after Umufia’s counsel, Mr T.K. Fwang’an, told the court that he filed an application for bail.
But Justice Dabup, refused to grant the prayers of the defence counsel, saying: “the court is not ready for the bail application now, but we shall adjourn this case.”
“Our next sitting will be in the Chambers considering the applicants being minors.
“I hereby order that the accused be remanded in prison custody pending our next sitting,” the Judge ordered.
The judge adjourned the case until Oct. 8 for hearing of the case in chamber.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that when the charges were read to the accused, he pleaded not guilty.
NAN reports that the absence of an Urhobo interpreter on July 12 had stalled his plea taking, when the accused was first arraigned by the Plateau State Ministry of Justice over the alleged defilement of four minors.
Mr Gideon Azi, the Prosecution Counsel, told the court that since the suspect had pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against him, he would need some days to prepare his witnesses to come forward and give their testimonies.
“My Lord, since the accused has pleaded not guilty to the offences as charged, we shall be asking for a a short adjournment to enable us prepare our witnesses to come over and testify before this honourable court.
“We have a total of 11 witnesses to take if our application is granted,” Azi pleaded.
“My Lord, we have an application for bail of the accused, who has just pleaded not guilty of the charges labeled against him.
“We are ready to move it with the permission of your Lordship my,” he pleaded.
The prosecuting Counsel alleged that the suspect had lured the kids into his room and had canal knowledge of them thereby committed defilement, illicit sexual act and rape contrary to sections 208, 249, 207 and 257 of the Penal Code, NAN reports,.
According to him, the offences was committed between October 2018 and May 2019 at Rukuba Road Quarters within Jos Metropolis.

This is gesture that will remain in the hearts of music lovers in Africa for a very long time.
Meanwhile, we would not allow the trend of this Beyonce‘s iconic album to fade-off without reviewing the efforts two big Afro-beat exports, Wizkid and Burna Boy on the album.
In collaboration with Saint Jhn and Blue Ivy Carter, Wizkid delivered a masterpeice on the song, “Brown Skin Girl“.
Being the lead vocal on the song, Wizkid played his role well on the track, especially the way he was able to set the pace in his introductory verse for others to follow.
Burna Boy was all alone on the track “Ja Ara E” on Beyonce’s “Lion King“. Could this be another proof that Burna is truly the GIANT of Africa, musically?
In as much as we would agree that Burna Boy Kinged it out among other African act on the Album for having a solo track, on the other hand, a feature of another artiste on the other side would have made the track sound better.
Truth be told, Burna Boy‘s one mopol still murdered the track.
Apparently, these two tracks are fans favourites among other songs by other African acts on the Album.

Four men were on Tuesday remanded in Ikoyi Prisons in Lagos State for allegedly conspiring to beat up a man to death.
The police arraigned Wasiu Wahab, 28; Yusuf Adebayo, 28; Ramoni Ibrahim, 28; and Yusuf Adegbite, 25, on two counts of conspiracy and murder before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr O.O. Olatunji, ordered the remand of the four men, pending an advice from the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions.
Olatunji adjourned until Aug. 26, after refusing the plea of the defendants.
Earlier, the Police Prosecutor, Insp. Oladele Adebayo, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on July 8 at Badore Jetty in Ajah, Lagos.
He alleged that the defendants had conspired and beaten up one Olamode Omolegbe, 22, to death during a street fight, NAN reports.
Adebayo said that the offences contravened Sections 223 and 233 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
