6 Tips To Spot Someone That Has A Crush On You

$
0
0

So many times, we have a crush on someone or vice versa without knowing what that feeling is.

There are even times when we confuse love for lust, there are times when we just feel smitten by someone and we probably have no definition for it. Some people live in a world of self-denial when someone is crushing on them, they probably assume it’s nothing.

To ease off the stress and maybe wrong assumptions, these are some of the tips to spot that colleague, friend, boss or stranger that has a crush on you.

1. They always want to talk to you: you know someone has a crush on you when they tell you about anything and everything. If a person has a crush on you, they are never out of what to say. There is always something new they want you to know about. This is one first sign to know you have someone crushing on you.

2. They don’t stop staring: If you have this person that is fond of staring at you and your eyes meet at intervals, it could be a sign of someone crushing. Most times, this person looks at you straight in the eyes with some sort of expressions. Most times, they don’t care if you are aware they are lust in your eyes.

They do it with so much courage. Sometimes you begin to feel uncomfortable from the stares but it’s normal.

3. They love to be around you: this person feels more comfortable hanging around you. They invite you for functions, movies, salon and anywhere they can be alone with you. They never feel bored when you are around. In fact, they prefer your company over anyone else. You just have a way you complete this person.

4. They feel jealous: You know someone has a crush on you when they feel jealous or mad at you when you are with the opposite sex. Most times, they don’t even show it, they just tend to act strange when you are with someone else. If someone is crushing on you, most times they automatically see you as a part of them.

Hence, they try to be all over you, guide you or shield you from others.

5. They stalk you: Your crush is always there stalking you, who you talk to, what you do, what you eat and so on. They are mostly on your social media pages trying to see what is new with you. Sometimes, you bump on them at intervals and it feels awkward. Your crush stalks you anytime, as long as it makes them feel good.

6. They are completely the same with you: when someone has a crush on you, they act a little bit weird around you. Sometimes, they act so nervously and you begin to wonder why it is that way. Your crush could be so real around you.

They see no point in forming or trying to fake anything. They are just more interested in you and nothing else matters.

Be sure someone is showing any of these signs before you assume they have a crush on you. Sometimes, someone could have a crush on you and they wouldn’t ever talk to you. Silence is also a weapon of crush. Be guided.

Declare Nnamdi Azikiwe’s Birthday Public Holiday, Abiola Was A Zikist – Gov. Obiano Begs Buhari

The Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to also declare the birthday of Nigeria’s first president, Nnamdi Azikiwe, as a public holiday.

This was as he commended Buhari for honoring the presumed winner of the June 12, 1993, presidential vote, Chief Moshood Abiola, with the renaming of the National Stadium in Abuja, after Abiola.

This was contained in a statement released Saturday in Awka, the Anambra State capital, by C. Don Adinuba, the state Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment.

Obiano said the renaming of the stadium was “the icing on the cake in the steps taken so far to immortalize a national figure who won the 1993 presidential vote fair and square but was denied victory and, more painfully, incarcerated solitarily.

“We have watched with admiration how President Buhari first announced in the first week of June 2018, his intention to make June 12 a national holiday and bestowed on Chief Abiola Grand Commander of the Federal Republic, Nigeria’s highest national honor given to only heads of state.

“President Buhari followed it up with an appropriate bill in the National Assembly and then assented to it on passage, thus changing Nigeria’s Democracy Day from May 29, in commemoration of the day the military handover the Nigerian national leadership to elected civilians on May 29, 1999, to June 12, in remembrance of the day the historic election between Chief MKO Abiola of the Social Democratic Party and Alhaji Bashir Tofa of the National Republican Convention was held.

“No one expected the National Stadium to be named after the hero of the struggle for democracy. The renaming must have been the president’s personal idea and initiative.

“By the time Chief Abiola joined the presidential contest, there was no person who could rival his support for sport development in the African region, which earned him the honour of Pillar of Sports in Africa from the Association of African Sports Confederations.

“For example, he provided tremendous financial resources to his Abiola Babes Football Club based in Abeokuta, Ogun State, which enabled most of the players to escape from abject poverty to lead a comfortable lifestyle. The players understandably became more dedicated.

“Abiola Babes scored the bull’s eye by winning within a few years of its formation the prestigious National Football Club League Championship.

“Unknown to most Nigerians, Chief Abiola was a boxer, and was guided and assisted by an indigene of Nnewi, Anambra State, named Dr George Akabogu, who was to become a famous school principal and later an academic.

“Chief Abiola was a true Nigerian. He donated generously to worthy causes and championed quite a number selflessly.

“Apart from employing Nigerians generously in his organizations regardless of their faith, gender or ethnic origin, Chief Abiola established Udoka, an Igbo newspaper;Amana, a Hausa newspaper; and Isokan, a Yoruba newspaper.

“Abiola never left anyone in doubt that he was greatly inspired by the nationalism, patriotism and sportsman-like spirit of Nigeria’s first president, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, GCFR, PC. He remained an avowed Zikist up to his death.

“On the occasion of the first anniversary of June 12 as Democracy Day in honour of a great Nigerian patriot, it has become imperative to remind President Buhari of the request I made to him on behalf of the government and people of Anambra State when he visited Onitsha to commission the newly completed Zik Mausoleum last January 24 that he declare Zik’s birthday a national holiday.

“Ghanaians observe the birthday of their first president, Dr Kwame Nkrumah, himself a Zik protégé. Tanzanians observe a national holiday in memory of their first president, Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, as Angolans do in memory of Dr Agustiono Neto, their first president.

“The Great Zik of Africa was not just Nigeria’s first president or the man who led Nigeria to independence in 1960. He was Nigeria’s first indigenous Governor-General and the first Senate President.

“He was the first Nigerian to build a bank, thus inspiring his colleagues as regional premiers in the 1950s to establish their own banks. He was also the first Nigerian to set up a university, and consequently challenged his peers to follow in his footsteps.

“A Nigerian nationalist of incomparable status and a man of letters through and through, the Great Zik of Africa had established as early as the 1950s newspapers in Ibadan, Zaria, Kano, Onitsha, Port Harcourt and, of course, Lagos to fight for Nigeria’s liberation from oppressive colonial rule.

“Zik inspired a generation of Africans, including the late President Nkrumah of Ghana, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Dr Nwafor Orizu, who became Nigeria’s second Senate President.

“It has, therefore, become a national scandal that a national holiday has yet to be declared in honour of this great African son. The people and government of Anambra State once again call upon President Buhari to end this national blight by declaring November 16 of every year a national holiday in commemoration of Dr Azikiwe’s birthday.”

The police in Kano State has made it very clear that it would not hesitate to arrest a gorilla or any other animal linked to the missing N6.8 million at the Kano Zoological Garden, as investigations progress.

However, police have said that there are no indications that a gorilla swallowed the N6.8m money, as claimed by earlier reports.

The Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Haruna Abdullahi, reportedly told Daily Trust on Sunday that contrary to speculations, the N6.8 million went missing after an alleged robbery incident which occurred on June 9, 2019.

He said that on June 9, some staff of the Garden called the police to report the robbery incident.

He added also that 10 staff of the Zoological Garden have already been arrested by the police in connection with the missing money.

The police spokesperson also noted that none of the arrested persons have linked the missing money to any animal in the zoo.

“We have arrested the Garden’s personnel because we suspect negligence on their part.

The money was proceeds generated within five days and it was during the just concluded Sallah celebrations.

The personnel, instead of taking the money to the bank for safe keeping, they kept it with them, a situation that led to the alleged robbery.

We are investigating the matter and I can assure you that we will unravel the truth of the matter,” he said.

Oduduwa University Denies Cultists Caught At OAU, Ile-Ife

The founder of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Dr Abdulrahman Adegoke Adedoyin, has denied the claim that students of the institution were planning to attack the neighbouring Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, describing it as ridiculous.

Adedoyin told Sunday Vanguard:

“The management of the Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, via Ile Ife is shocked by the claims that our students plan to attack Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Osun State (OAU).

This claim to say the least is embarrassing, ridiculous and false. “We make bold to say that those students arrested as cultists in OAU were neither our students nor had any link with OUI.

We have gone through the institution’s portal and our records and could not trace their names. “In view of this, there is no basis to spew publication or harbour any thought that our students are hatching plans to attack Obafemi Awolowo University.”

The educationist went on:

“Why is OAU linking us with the challenges it is currently battling with? How can a student/staff population of 5,000 attack a student/staff population of over 60,000 people?

“No serious private university in Nigeria can allow cultism in its school. Nobody enters Oduduwa University without undergoing serious security scrutiny.

Uniformed policemen, plainclothes security men have been stationed at strategic places inside the university to control our security at all times.”

Man Reveals How Fulani Herdsmen Rescued Him From Kidnappers In Ondo

A Nigerian man identified as Adenrele has revealed how he was rescued alongside his uncle, by some Fulani Herdsmen in Ondo State.

According to the man they were traveling along the Owo-Ifon Road in the state when they were kidnapped by some hefty men who didn’t in any way look like herdsmen.

He wrote on Twitter:

Let me share a kidnap story we experienced two days ago in Ondo state. Listen folks, I don’t know about other stories making round the news about herdsmen kidnapping people on the highway, but they’re certainly not herdsmen.

This personally happened two days ago along Owo-Ifon express way in Ondo state, we headed for this journey as early as 7am, on getting to Ipele junction of that same axis after Elegbeka(for those conversant with that route) at a pothole a group of hefty men numbering about 4

Came from the bush, threw some woods on the road before the pothole stopped us and ordered the four of us in our car. May I chip in this,my uncle who was at the wheel already told us before we started the journey how the rate kidnapping is on the rise. Infact while on our journey

We listened to the news about a LG chairman or who was shot by herdsmen along Ikire in Osun state who was heading to Ibadan. Whenever we approached any pothole, he sped past without hesitating if the car was gonna break down or if the tire would burst.

But at this particular Spot, those hefty men already threw that wood so we won’t be able to go past it. They came out, pointed heavy guns at us, left our car at that spot, these men didn’t look like herdsmen, within me, I began to wonder if that would certainly be the end, a whole lot of thoughts ran Through my mind, one of them led us with a gun, the two were beside us at both sides, one behind us, all held on to their guns firmly, we walked through the bush path for like an hour without getting to any point where we were going to meet anyone.

We got to a stream, they stopped and one of them said he was pressed he was allowed to go defecate, we were left with 3 men. After walking that long, we were exhausted, we sat down with our hands tied to our legs, at this point no I was already saying my last prayers.

They asked us if we had anyone who was going to rescue us, don’t forget we’re yet to get to their “camp” as alleged, we sat by that stream. But luckily for us,I sighted a little boy who isn’t more than 10yrs old, looking tattered, on sighting this boy, he left and my mind skipped

The other guy who went to defecate came back and they cracked jokes, they untied us, at that point, they already collected our phones, but I had my other Android phone in the car. I couldn’t move at that point, they hit the gun on my butt. We came to a little hut.

Their leader was right there and 5 others were already kidnapped tied to trees. Mind you, I sighted a little boy at that stream, not knowing the little boy traced and followed us. After spending like 3hours with heavy torture at the hands of those criminals, that little boy came

At this point with 7 men herdsmen came with that little boy, they rescued us all. They were all speaking in their language either they were making incantations I wouldn’t say, they collected those guns and shot two men at the spot.

At this point I was literally in heaven I didn’t know when I urinated on my body, the others fled including their leader, they took their knives and cut those ropes. They led us through the bush path till we got to Oriohin one other village along that axis. We took a cab that brought us back to the spot where our car Was parked.

At this point,we don’t know if we should continue our journey to the village or head back to Akure. I was speechless all through the journey till we got to the village. When we got to the village it was my uncle who narrated our ordeal at the hands of those miscreants.

I just regained my sanity yesterday. I don’t know about other kidnap happening across the country, but ours wasn’t even herdsmen but hefty men who don’t look like herdsmen. As a matter of fact, herdsmen were those that rescued all of us.

We were actually heading to the village for Project. Those men rescued us without charging us a dime. They left their own hut with their cows and when we got to that village where we took a vehicle back to where our car was parked, my uncle gave them 20k from what he had on him as part of the project money.

How Tinubu Begged Abacha For Post – Bode George

A former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George, has commended Kola Abiola, the son of the late MKO Abiola, the acclaimed winner of the Jun 12 1993 election, for exposing former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and other “June 12 opportunists.”

George said this during an interview with a correspondent on the telephone while reacting to Kola’s allegations that after the annulment of the June 12, 1993 election, Tinubu approached the late military dictator, Gen. Sani Abacha, and begged him for a commissioner appointment in Lagos State.

According to Kola, it was after Tinubu had lost out that he decided to join hands with the National Democratic Coalition to fight for the actualisation of the June 12 mandate.

George, who is also a former military administrator, hailed Kola for stating the facts even as he lamented that many opportunists were seeking to twist history.

He said, “It is true that Tinubu went to beg for a commissioner position. He was in the Villa and Gen. Oladipo Diya is a witness. He (Tinubu) said he wanted to be a deputy to a military administrator and when all that didn’t work, he went into his activism.”

The PDP chieftain hailed Kola for deciding to make a documentary of the June 12 saga.

George said Kola must not be victimised for saying the truth since, as the first son of MKO, he was an insider.

He said, “Most of what Kola said is true. He spoke from the heart and he was trying to set the records straight in the face of the many narratives. He had been looking for who would help to recognise the June 12 saga so that his father wouldn’t have died in vain.

“In the course of this, he had bottled up so much. He went through a lot, having lost his mother and family businesses during the struggle. So, he was setting the records straight so that people would not rewrite history.”

The PDP chieftain, however, said Nigeria had yet to learn from the June 12 saga.

He said the lessons of June 12 go beyond declaring a holiday or immortalizing MKO.

George said, “Now, June 12 has been adopted as a national holiday but have we learnt any serious lesson from it? Have we done anything to ensure that the mistakes of the past are not repeated?

“Yes, people are pontificating and trying to use it as a political tool but believe we have not learnt anything.”

The PDP chieftain said Nigerians were more united during the June 12 struggle than today and argued that more emphasis should be placed on uniting the nation through the legacy of June 12.

Attempts to speak with Tinubu’s media aide, Tunde Rahman, proved abortive as he neither returned calls nor responded to a text message on Saturday.

Reno Omokri, the former Special Assistant on New Media to erstwhile President, Goodluck Jonathan has tackled former Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, over his (Fayose) attack on former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to rename the Abuja National Stadium after Moshood Abiola, the adjudged winner of the June 12 1993 presidential election, Fayose had criticised Obasanjo.

The former Governor, in his reaction on Thursday, had tweeted, “Honouring MKO Abiola by @MBuhari is to Obasanjo’s shame.

“It remains a sore-point of his political history that because of ego, Obasanjo, who’s the greatest beneficiary of the June 12, 1993 struggle failed to honour his kinsman, MKO Abiola. So, I commend President Buhari.”

Reacting to Fayose’s attack, Omokri tweeted, “I disagree with @GovAyoFayose that @MBuhari honouring Abiola is to Obasanjo’s shame.

“Who built the stadium Buhari named after MKO? Is it not Obasanjo? Abiola’s slogan was ‘farewell to poverty’.

“Between Obasanjo and Buhari, who bid farewell to poverty? Of course ObJ.”

NL MUSIC REVIEW!!! With Fireboy’s New Song “What If I Say”– Do You Think He’s Really Talented As We Use To Think?

What If I Say Fireboy is the most talented new acts on the block right now?

Recently I published a post about one thing all up & rising artists can learn from Fireboy’s journey so far so good, in case you missed it – Read it up Here

Olamide introduces Fireboy into the scene late last year with the YBNL Mafia Album, with “I’ll be fine” & “Jealous” being a solo track sees Fireboy spinning out electric uplifting and dream solitude song.

“Jealous” by Fireboy eventually became the heart of the album, and it has been argued to be one of the songs out of the industry so far this year and also topping charts for months.

A lot of music junkies still don’t have an iota of belief in Fireboy‘s talent though, even despite the huge success of Jealous. Yes! I understand why it is though, and that’s mainly cause we’ve seen quite a lot of one-hit wonders in the scene, so we shouldn’t jump to judge Fireboy too.

But to burst the bubbles of cynicism, Fireboy capitalizes on the sparky momentum laid down by “Jealous‘ to drop an amazingly fantastic sophomore single dubbed “What If I Say“.

Now the question now is, Does “What If I Say” reaffirms that Fireboy is indeed talented?

Listen to Fireboy’s “What If I Say” below:-

DOWNLOAD MP3

MUSIC REVIEW

Fireboy‘s new single has these melodies and light dance-hall rhythms that will make their way into your consciousness like an air conditioners and make it calm as cucumber.

The interpolation between Pheelz bubbling beat and Fireboy‘s sonorous voice is something we’ve seen during Adekunle Gold’s time at YBNL, but this time more it sounds more intriguing.

Fireboy sings about reuniting with his Bae, having a nice time with her, and including listening to some song on his beat by Dre speaker, that sure looks some heavenly time to have with Bae though. I should use that line for the LOML too someday 😍

Something have noticed is that very few musicians have the kind of artistic cachet as Fireboy. He makes this kind of music that you just need to drop everything and anything you doing at the time, so you can just listen to his vibe with full attentiveness. I Love His Vibe!

In conclusion, What If I Say by Fireboy as an amalgamation of R&B slow jams, soft rock beats, Afro-pop vibe and rousing spiritual tune that are capable to elicit a warmth that can melt away all type of cynicism or doubt about Fireboy’s talents. Boy gats Fire Indeed!

RATINGS

Overall, we will rate the song 8/10 ★★★★★★★★☆☆

So Guys 👇

Shortly after hitting limelight, during an interview, reggae/dancehall singer, Patoranking described his brand of reggae music as ‘a morally inclined variation of dance-hall music’, but in the music videos of four of his songs, ‘Girlie O’, ‘Daniella Whine’, ‘Available’, and ‘Suh Different’, he contradicted himself with a lot of nudity.

In a chat with Showtime, the versatile singer explained why it seems like he contradicted himself in the mentioned music videos.

Music, as I always say is a spirit and a painting. Like all paintings, it contains uncountable colors and different expressions explain the vibe it has. So, also these listed songs were for the portrayal of the vibe behind the inspiration of the songs. It was all about dance and I chose the physical feminine expression of it to connect with my female fans as well as appreciate how cool they interpret sounds and rhythm”, he said in defense.

Speaking about his music sojourn since he gained stardom, he said;

“It’s been a hard journey naturally, as nothing comes easy, but most importantly; it’s been one of thorough self-growth and lessons. I’m not where I am going yet but I’m aware that I’m not where I started either and I’m super grateful for that. It’s been an adventure and I’m looking forward to more milestones.”

He added that the long duration he had to wait for before gaining stardom challenged him to become successful.

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated First Republic Aviation Minister, Chief Mbazuluike Amaechi, on the occasion of his 90th birthday anniversary.

His spokesman, Femi Adesina, said the president joined family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate the elder statesman, foremost nationalist and respected community leader who has remained steadfast in proffering the way forward for Nigeria and building bridges that will help strengthen the foundations of the country.

“On this auspicious occasion, the President enjoins all who celebrate the nonagenarian to reflect on the ideals he shared so much with national founding figures like the great Zik of Africa, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, who used their leadership positions to serve the country with dedication, dignity, and discipline”, it read.

“The President believes Nigeria needs nationalists like Chief Amaechi to constantly remind us of our national history and inspire all Nigerians to embrace the core values of unity and faith, peace and progress.

“President Buhari prays God to preserve the celebrant with good health, happiness, and peace and wish all those celebrating him a joyous day.”
