I want us to discuss about what’s currently happening among the two biggest political parties we have in the country. And if care is not taken the ruling party will seize to produce the next president.
The All Progressive Congress (AP ) is gradually crashing because we preached only integrity. They have completely lost faith on what IBB said when he was the head of States ‘a little bit to the left and a little bit to the right.
It’s only hard work that takes you to the top but integrity keep you at the top. Cases, involving party faithful are resolved in courts and we shouted integrity. Resident electoral commissioners appointed by APC are working for PDP yet they keep shouting integrity.
Over 80 percent of judges in the country, were appointed by PDP and are working for PDP, no check on them, yes, that’s integrity. For the first time in the history of democracy in Nigeria, a ruling party was not allowed to fill candidates for election, in a state, yes it’s integrity at work.
Who benefits from the integrity, the opposition, PDP. Collation of election results was suspended in Rivers state because the opposition was losing and nobody said anything, it’s integrity at work.
A sitting deputy governor was arrested in Kano, by police, despite the constitutional provision, which granted him immunity. The commissioner of police is still moving freely, and still, in Kano, that is integrity at work.
All the major oil producing States that provides teeth to the opposition parties are still in the opposition camp. Integrity.
The ruling party may have only President Buhari as the President if the situation is allowed to continue.
The rerun elections conducted in some states, the opposition party won some states than the Ruling Party. Let call that integrity too
But I think with the way things are going APC might seize to produce a president in 2023.
