We witnessed a shocking spectacle when Real Madrid announced the return of Zinedine Zidane.
The former France international earlier joined the club in 2014, and in an outstanding two & a half seasons at the helm, he won 3 the UEFA Champions League three times consecutively, a LA LIGA title, a Supercopa de España, and the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup twice each.
He bizarrely left the club on the 31st may, 2018 an all has not been well since his departure!
Real Madrid will certainly not win a trophy this season after exiting the Champions League embarrassingly to Ajax, losing the Copa Del Rey semi-final against bitter rivals Barcelona, and a 12-point gap in the league between the same club is almost impossible to catch up. This is simply unacceptable for a big side like Madrid.
Club President Florentino Pérez made the bold choice to bring Zidane back to the club in preparations for next season but he would have to deal with a side without the ever reliable Cristiano Ronaldo, an unmotivated Gareth Bale & a demoralized side all together.
