Earlier today, President Buhari and his wife Aisha, casted their votes at their ward in Daura, Katsina state at 8.08am today February 23rd.
Shortly after they casted their votes, President Buhari spoke to the press.
When asked if he will emulate his predecessor by conceding defeat and call his opponent if he loses the election, President Buhari said, “I will congratulate myself; I am going to be the winner”
Clad in a light blue `Babbar Riga’, the president was accompanied by his wife, and some security details.
Aisha was the first to vote before the president at 8.06 a.m., while the president voted at 8.10 a.m. “So far, so good. Nigerians understand and are behaving themselves,’’ Buhari said when asked to give his assessment of the exercise, so far.
